Tricycle terminal at Buhi Public Market compound, Buhi, Camarines Sur

The Municipal Tricycle Franchising and Regulatory Board(MTFRB) of Buhi ordered the tricycle operators and drivers to post the tricycle fare matrix in their respective units visible to the passengers amidst Covid-19 pandemic.

The board adopted the said order in its special meeting Tuesday, August 18, after several complaints received from the riding public.

Sanggunian Bayan & MTFRB secretary Heriberto Moraña said that the special fare matrix is in effect since May of this year under MTFRB Resolution No. 20-004, as confirmed by Sanggunian Bayan Resolution No. 20-053.

Also, the board secretariat provides a copy of the said fare matrix to drivers for free due to the pandemic, Moraña said.

OIC-Police chief Elein Legacion, a member of the board, assured that she would strictly enforce the said order, Moraña added.

Earlier, MTFRB also allows tricycles to accommodate two(2) passengers per ride but strictly follows minimum health standards and protocols imposed by the IATF.
