The Sanggunian Bayan of Buhi (SB-Buhi) holds a public hearing on proposed guidelines on the operation and use of an ambulance.
The hearing began at 1:30 p.m. this afternoon in the session hall of Sanggunian Bayan, this town. It presided by SB-Buhi Ordinances and Legal Matters committee chair Loreto Camasis. Residents also participated in the deliberation via live streaming from the Facebook page of LGU-Buhi officials.
Also attended the hearing are the following: Councilors Maria Bella Nonato and Myrna Imperial, Municipal Health Officer Breandovin Saez, Gabas Punong Barangay Edgar Maravillo, San Pedro Punong Barangay Godofredo Agravante, Tambo Punong Barangay Lourdes Concepcion, San Antonio Punong Barangay Elsie Cabrera, MPDC employee Edwin Salvamante and other barangay officials.
The proposed town ordinance introduced by councilors Maria Bella Nonato and Ting Villadares would prescribe guidelines on the operation and use of an ambulance for health emergency medical services in the municipality.
Because of its urgency amidst pandemic, the proposed measure will be treated by the Sanggunian Bayan en banc Thursday, September 3, under the 2nd and 3rd reading.
Last August 18, the local government of Buhi received three (3) new units ambulance from the Department of Health (DOH) Bicol in Legaspi City.
